Un-Birthday

As I've said before, my kids love to play outside. We go outside pretty much every day. Thursday was pretty nice so we had a picnic out front. Then the kids went up and down the sidewalk on their little scooter cars for about an hour. They never get sick of it!

And here he is coming down. He would do this all day if he could. It is hilarious to watch. Maybe I only get so much pleasure from it because I'm his mother! Maybe I'll post a video next time and you can tell me what you think.

This is a cake I made for the cake decorating class I'm taking with some friends. That class is a blast! I made this cake for the kids and they were so excited. Audrey woke up at 5 am the morning after the night I went to class saying " I want cake! I want cake!" she was so excited to see the cake I made for them.

Thursday afternoon we went to this place called Inflation Nation that has a ton of big inflatable toys. The kids loved it! We were the only ones there, along with another little girl. They even let the adults play too! This was Ethans favorite toy above. He would bounce around it in circles.

So that was the little Un-Birthday party we had this week. Had a picnic, ate some cake, and had some fun.

It snowed a lot here on March 1st! It was more snow than we have ever seen here! The next weekend it was 80 degrees!

Jake posted that last blog, I thought it was pretty funny. The real reason I avoid blogging is because I'm so slow at it. However, I know if I do it more often I'll get faster. I want to stay in contact with all the great friends we've made here in Virginia. I'm sure nobody hardly ever checks our blog because we never update, but I'm going to more often...I Promise!

A lot has happened since our last real blog from November:) All three kids have had their Birthdays, so now Jacob is 5, Audrey is 3, and Ethan is 2. I can't believe how my babies are all getting so big, but its a lot of fun getting to do fun activities with them! We have been sick quite a bit this winter though:( Above are some pics of some of the things we've been up to.

Jake just got done taking boards this last weekend, and what a relief that is! Only a few more months to go until Graduation! I can't believe it! Next month we are hoping to go to the Sacred Grove for spring break. I want to do that before we move.

We suck at blogging

We suck at blogging. It is boring, and we never get around to posting everything about our pathetic lives. Maybe if we had lives worth reporting then we'd be more excited about blogging. We're thinking of terminating our blog. What do you think? Comments please.

Birthdays and Halloween

Fall is full of birthdays in our family, and holidays just add to the fun! Jacob turned 5 last month, I can't believe it, and Audrey turns 3 in a week. Jacob enjoyed a b-day bash with all his friends and Audrey's b-day party is this Saturday. Halloween was a blast as usual for the kids, they love dressing up in their costumes. One night we even found Jacob sleeping in his dinosour costume a few weeks before Halloween! Jake and I decided to join the fun and dress up as well. Disco baby!
Jacob is in preschoool now and loving it. He gets to take a bus to and from school. He wakes up every day and says "Do I get to go to school today?" I wondor how long that will last?
Audrey started a little home taught preschool which she loves and asks about every day even though it is only twice a week. She likes to spend time with friends and play outside.
Ethan is still his easy going self except for if he's hungry or tired. He dawdles around the house mos the time, playing with toys or with Jacob and Audrey. His favorite thing to do is play outside.

I haven't blogged forever, reason being I'm not very fast at it, and it's pretty much impossible to do while the kids are awake. I'm going to try and write a little more often, hopefully once a month. I know thats not much better but I can't promise more than that!

Hey ya'll! We decided to put together a blog finally, so here we are. We have been enjoying summer; we recently got back from a trip to Idaho. It was nice to see our family but its good to be home. While we were there we went to Jake's 10 year reunion(Boise High), floated the river a few times, went to the cabin in Island Park for a week, saw some flicks, and spent time with family and friends. Let me just say it was soooo nice having family to babysit. We took advantage of that situation. Now that we're home weve been keeping Jacob, Audrey, and Ethan entertained by going to Meadowbrook pool, Kings Dominion, and the beach. Isn't the summer great?!
